Kathne Downey (aka Kath) had grown up always wanting to be a teacher and she is so excited to be teaching preschool for Elite Academy. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Utah Valley University in 2017 in the field of History. She enjoys being able to help children learn and grow. Kathne also loves being able to work with students and parents at the front desk. She loves all things that have to do with the front office and especially loves office supplies. She truly cares for each student that comes to the studio and wants them all to succeed. She believes that the students and teachers at Elite are truly a family.

Kathne's hobbies include: photography, calligraphy, drawing, any arts and crafts, going to concerts,and binge watching a good television show. She is always full of random facts and will always help if you ask. She currently is married and lives with her husband and two adorable Yorkies.

Working and teaching for Elite Academy is one of the most wonderful experiences of her life and she can’t to see what her future at Elite holds!
